Bowling Green University Eliminates Baseball Program In Budget Cuts

Another NCAA program guts a sports program in reaction to the voluntary economic shutdown

states did in regards to the Coronavirus.

On Friday, Bowling Green State University announced that it has eliminated its baseball program, effective immediately.
BGSU Athletics said the action is being taken as part of a plan for a $2 million reduction to the operating budget of the intercollegiate athletics department. The move impacts 34 student-athletes and three coaches.
